MissD was born in 2010, at the age of 40. In a way she was the love child of two weddings, a heart attack and Chris Morris, who does not know about it yet.
Main influences: growing up as a fat clever girl in a troubled and conflictual Israel, Struggling to understand what is it exactly that people say to her in her adopted home, in London, and a huge regret about not having had sex with Bill Hicks before it was too late (rigor mortis, in retrospect, was not such a great look).
MissD has 200 gigs behind her, since being launched out of Camden’s Comedy School in June 2010. She thoroughly enjoyed her Edinburgh show in 2011 (Age of Treason with Liz Frances Hobbs and Boris Witz). She runs two comedy nights in London, MissD’d Silver Hammer (The Distillers Arms, Hammersmith, Mondays forthnightly) and Cantaloopy (Cantaloupe, Shoreditch, Wednesdays weekly, with Alex Love). MissD is having the time of her life on the London circuit, and travels to bizzare and wonderful places around England, gigging the nights away.
She’s only in it for laughs anyway.
